Adobe Launches Cloud Solutions for Government at Digital Government Assembly

On February 3rd, 2015, new Adobe Document Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager Solutions for government were launched. These cloud solutions were designed to transform citizen engagement and streamline work for public sector employees. Adobe shared the following digital government case study in their press release.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) uses Adobe Experience Manager to more effectively deliver content to visitors, giving them real-time updates on road conditions and construction projects. By restructuring their Web content with Adobe, NMDOT reduced their web pages by more than 800 pages.

"We already knew and trusted Adobe tools, and we found that the Adobe Experience Manager was right for our department," said Bruce Oakeley, Information Systems Manager, NMDOT. "We're excited that Adobe is moving more and more of these technologies to the cloud as it will help public sector organizations like ours streamline costs even further."

"Creating dynamic content is not just the domain of the private sector," said John Landwehr, Adobe's public sector chief technology officer. "Citizens and public sector employees expect the government to deliver the same services they use in their daily lives across their smartphone, tablets and PCs. By making our industry-leading digital technologies available to government customers in the cloud, we’re helping them improve citizen engagement while streamlining operations and saving money."
